Last year the Weekend Wildlife Club was funded by Awards for All and was consistently over subscribed. Due to the level of demand and all the positive comments from the parents of the children involved we have decided to launch the Weekend Wildlife club again this year as one of our income generating projects. After consultation with parents who's children attended last year we have decided to run the club at a new time of 10am - 2-.30pm and the cost of each session is £20 .

Plas Derw Trust is a non profit charity so our prices are set only to cover our costs such as staff wages and sundries for sessions.

The Weekend Wildlife Club is open to 5- 10 year olds and the the aim of the club is that children learn about nature and wildlife in a natural outdoor environment. There is time in each sessions for children to explore, learn and play in our woods. All participants will get a club handbook containing different activities which can be done during the sessions, or even when out and about with family and friends. Each session will have a different theme, such as birds, trees and signs of spring, and the games and activities are linked to the topics.

For maximum enjoyment, spaces are limited to 12 children per session. The club aims to encourage repeat visits, and we would hope that each person comes to at least four sessions throughout the year. Booking for each session will open on the first Monday of the month. Please note that this is a seperate project to Kids Club in the Woods, there will be time for free play but the main focus will be on learning about wildlife and nature through games and activities.

Please note the folowing terms and condtions for booking onto the Weekend Wildlife Club.

• Booking opens on the first Monday of the month, payment must be made within 7 days.
• Confirmation letters will only be sent via email upon receipt of payment.
• Medical consent forms will need to be completed for the fist session, forms will be held on file for future sessions.
• Cancellations can be made upto 7 day prior to the club and will receive a full refund, any cancellation within 7 days will not receive a full reund. more details in confirmation letter.
• Plas Derw Trust may have to cancel session in the event of high winds or adverse weather and if there are not enough bookings to cover costs.
