Environmental Education
We have recently secured funding to run two projects which fulfill our commitments to delivering Environmental Education.
In February Plas Derw Trust will be hosting and Eco Footprinting Day. 30 Local schools will be invited to bring two members of their Eco Council to the event where there will be presentations and workshops designed to get the children thinking about their schools and their own Global Footprint. This project is funded by the Wlesh Assembley Government and local sponsors.
The Dulverton Trust Fund has awarded Plas Derw a grant to enable us to deliver our Seed to Sideboard Project to three Local High Schools. The project is designed to inform the Young people on the importance of the Local Timber industry.
