The Outdoor Classroom
The Outdoor Classroom is a project designed specifically for local schools in Flintshire. The woodland is an intrinsically motivating environment where children become highly engaged. These taster sessions are provided free to schools in Flintshire and are planned , risk assessed and led by a team of dedicated Forest School leaders, teachers and Education Officers. The activities can be tailored to meet the requirements of your group. Young people taking part are able to learn about various woodland topics such as history and biodiversity whilst also taking part in fun activities such as making music and story telling.
As well as being a fun filled day for all involved, The Outdoor Classroom also provides numerous educational benefits;
